Formatting Syntax
DokuWiki supports some simple markup language, which tries to make the datafiles to be as readable as possible. If you want to try something, just use the playground page. The simpler markup is easily accessible via quickbuttons, too.
DokuWiki Formatting

Markdown Formatting
(Limited) Markdown is also supported, thanks to this plugin. Please note, you can not mix markdown and dokuwiki formatting on the same line.
A guide on Markdown can be found here. Please note, we do not support the “GitHub Flavored Markdown” listed on that page. Everything else should work, though.
